What is #GIVINGTUESDAY?
#GivingTuesday is a counter narrative to Black Friday and Cyber Monday because it helps us remember that the spirit of the holiday season should be about community and not just consumerism. We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have#GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.
As a non-profit organization, the YWCA Greater Los Angeles depends on the generosity of individuals, dedicated members, businesses, and foundations to offer vital programming and activities to the community.
