Evangelist Dawn DeFreeze is the daughter of Donald DeFreeze, the founder and leader of the Symbionese Liberation Army (also known as the SLA), a group that operated in California in the late 1960s and early ‘70s. Dawn’s father is best known for his role in the kidnapping of Patty Hearst. Dawn will share how the absence of a much-needed father leads her down a road of hopelessness, illicit relationships, and utter despair. It turned out that that would be the very road to her redemption, and to an encounter with her Heavenly Father.
